LOCATION VS. AMENITIES- WHICH IS YOUR CHOICE?
A good location can be defined in many ways. It is most likely to be defined according to everyone’s preferences. A good location to me means being close to the public transportation and easy accessibility to my work, and also shopping malls. It could mean totally different for you, am I right?
However, we can’t escape from this question before we decide where to settle down. No matter what you choose though, you can’t deny the fact that a good location is more important than the amenities. This is due to, it is closely related to what you are about to feel on the property that you’ve invested, say, over many years.
Apart from that, good locations are equivalent to convenience and flexibility, and nearby amenities are basically means that the property is nicely located.
What they mean by good locations? Well, it simply means how briefly your life is intruded daily. Houses situated in a quiet and peaceful location with easy access to work, shopping malls, and schools are called as well located.
Though, by having good amenities close by doesn’t really mean that your property is nicely located.
Sounds confusing? Let me explain.
Yes, you may live close by to shops, bus stops, train stations and malls, however if your house is facing a hectic, busy highway, you are going to suffer by annoying, loud noises and pollution frequently
Won’t you feel less stressful to drive over to the nearest AEON for 30 minutes rather than have to live near a busy highway?
What if your property is situated in a location that is crime prone area but the nearest school and mall is such a short distance. Would you still define the location as a good location?
So, it goes without saying that location is the crucial factor when we deciding on properties. And, the amenities merely come second to that. Hence, choosing location over amenities is always a secure and a clever move
Of course, amenities are equally important. But, amenities are icing on a cake, but location gives long term benefits to you and your family.
Hence, make careful consideration and a smart decision when you buy a house. Good luck!
