Buying a low cost apartment is the most common strategy  for newbie property investors, however most people make mistakes on their first purchase. Here’s a few tips to help you get started.

BUY WITH MINIMUM 2 BATHROOMS

The days where 10 people from the same house can share one toilet. Having at least 2 toilets is a must, for most people are busy and need to use the toilet as quick as possible.

BUY UNITS THAT ARE FAR AWAY FROM RUBBISH CHUTES, LIFT AND STAIRCASES.

A very common mistake by most newbie property investors, just because the price tag of the particular apartment is cheaper than the other doesn’t mean it’s definitely a great deal. Check up the place before and purchases. People in low cost flat area usually throw rubbish near the elevator or stairs. You do not want to buy those units.

BE PICKY ABOUT PARKING SPACE

Look for places with at least 2 parking spaces, most families have at least 2 cars, Added parking space is an added value for your investment.

BEWARE OF CEILING HEIGHTS

This is an uncommon but, if you want to rent out your apartment fast, you might need to take heed that some apartments have really low ceiling heights, and you do not want it to be in your investment portfolio.

BEST TYPE OF APARTMENT FOR MOST INVESTORS

Most experience investors will go for 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartments. It’s easier to rent out, as there‘re a large pool of tenant
